Besides strictly adhering to the norms laid down by the CBSE and following its directives, the curriculum of the school is so organized that children are stimulated, encouraged and challenged to develop their individual potential and personality to the brim. Our curriculum is designed to reflect our aims and to meet the requirements of the C.B.S.E. curriculum and other government guidelines. The core and foundation subjects of the C.B.S.E., along with cross curricular themes such as environmental and economic awareness are thus integrated into a coherent whole.
Since English is the medium of instruction, it will be enforced as the campus language. A uniform system of handwriting style will be followed through all the classes.
To promote 'Easy Learning Greater Assimilation', students of M-KIDZ will undertake Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) as per the norms prevailing.
There will be Four cycle tests, Mid-Term and Final Term. Scheduled Weekly Tests comprise of four (4) 'Cycle Test' series for Nursery, LKG and UKG (M-KIDZ). Besides, the 'Tiny Ones' will be assessed on their day to day performance covering a range of parameters based on Activities, Projects, Parent Co-operation, Regularity, Values, Dress, Hygiene and Competitions.
CBSE has implemented the scheme of CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) in classes I-X. The CCE pattern is for a holistic profile of the learner through evaluation of both (I) Scholastic (II) Co-scholastic areas spread over two terms for each academic year.
(I) Scholastic Assessment: Four Formative & Two Summative Assessments
Formative Assessment: Diagnostic and remedial assessment through written tests / class work / interactive sessions / quizes / oral tests / projects / assignments / OBTA / PSA (class IX / X) or Practical.
Summative assessments: SA-1 & SA-2 Exams to be conducted by the School internally till class VIII. Question Paper for Classes IX & X will come directly from CBSE.
(II) Co-Scholastic Evaluation: Co scholastic areas like life skills, attitudes and values, participation and achievements in activities involving literacy, creative, and aesthetic skills and performing Arts, Health and Physical Education will also be evaluated.
