Academic programme
The school follows the CBSE curriculum and its directives to the letter, and organises the syllabus so that children are stimulated, encouraged and challenged to develop their individual potential and personality to the brim.

Curriculum
Through a well-planned and organised curriculum, effectively taught by qualified and enthusiastic teachers, pupils are helped to:
- Gain joy in, and commitment to, learning that will last a lifetime.
- Develop the essential literacy and numeracy skills they need to learn.
- Develop the right attitude, understanding and skills to become successful, independent learners.
- Foster creativity.
- Develop lively, enquiring minds.
- Develop personal values, qualities and attitudes, and be respectful of other people and their views and opinions.
- Develop appreciation and concern for the environment.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Learn through a mix of blackboard teaching and smart classes.
Our curriculum is designed to reflect our aims and to meet the requirements of the CBSE curriculum and other government guidelines. The core and foundation subjects of the CBSE, along with cross-curricular themes such as environmental and economic awareness, are integrated into a coherent whole.
English is the medium of instruction and the campus language. One handwriting style is followed through all the classes.
M-Kidz assessment (Nursery, LKG, UKG)
To promote ‘easy learning, greater assimilation’, students of M-Kidz undertake Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) as per the prevailing norms.
There are four cycle tests, a mid-term and a final term. Scheduled weekly tests comprise a series of four cycle tests for Nursery, LKG and UKG. Besides this, the tiny ones are assessed on their day-to-day performance covering a range of parameters based on activities, projects, parent cooperation, regularity, values, dress, hygiene and competitions.
Classes I to X
CBSE has implemented the scheme of CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) in Classes I to X. The CCE pattern builds a holistic profile of the learner through evaluation of both scholastic and co-scholastic areas, spread over two terms in each academic year.
Scholastic assessment
Four formative and two summative assessments.
- Formative assessment. Diagnostic and remedial assessment through written tests, class work, interactive sessions, quizzes, oral tests, projects, assignments, OBTA, PSA (Classes IX and X) or practicals.
- Summative assessment. SA-1 and SA-2 examinations conducted internally by the school up to Class VIII. Question papers for Classes IX and X come directly from the CBSE.
Co-scholastic evaluation
Co-scholastic areas such as life skills, attitudes and values, participation and achievement in activities involving literary, creative and aesthetic skills, performing arts, and health and physical education are also evaluated.
Rules for assessment
- A minimum attendance record of 90% of the total number of working days in each term or unit is compulsory. In the event that a student misses classes for health reasons, the school has sole discretion in deciding a waiver, if any. Even on medical grounds, absence beyond 20% of working days will not be accepted.
- There is no provision for reassessing students who remain absent on the day of an assessment, or those who have failed in one or more subjects. Requests to change assessment dates or timings will not be entertained.
- Unfair means. Students found using unfair means during any assessment will be awarded zero in that subject. Parents and the student concerned will be summoned and asked to provide an explanation. A repeat of such action will result in the prompt issue of a Transfer Certificate, without notice.
- Answer scripts are distributed to students after evaluation within ten days of the examination. Errors in evaluation, such as mistakes in totalling or unmarked answers, must be brought to the notice of the teacher concerned on the same day.
- Requests for the issue of a progress report before the declaration of results will not be entertained.
- To be eligible for promotion, a student must secure a passing grade or mark in each subject, and in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas, in the overall performance for the whole year.
- In matters of promotion and detention, the decision of the Principal is final.
